One killed in road accident on Jammu Srinagar highway | KNO

Srinagar, July 25 (KNO) : A Conductor of a truck died on spot during a rear end collision between two trucks on Srinagar Jammu highway. An official told KNO that a truck bearing Registrion No: UP11AT-8046 was plying fast on National Highway leaving one dead on High at Karol near Jaswal bridge. "When the truck reached Karol near Jaswal Bride it couldnt control over high speed and rear-end collision took place with a Standard Truck bearing No JK05B-5697," the official told KNO. He said the driver and conductor of standard truck were changing the tyre of truck due to which the truck conductor namely Fayaz Zamam S/o Fazal -ul Rehman of Busgam Baramullah came under the tyre and died on spot. "An FIR number 63/2019 under section 279/304-A RPC has been registered and investigation into the case has been started as well," the Police official told KNO. (KNO)
